Independent External Examiner of the Accounts

Are you a suitably qualified accountant willing to undertake the independent scrutiny of our accounts?

Our financial year ends on 30 June and we are looking for one or more individuals who could examine our accounts for us depending on their prevailing work commitments. As a recently reconstituted Charitable Incorporated Organisation, we are keen to file our accounts with the regulators quickly and well in advance on the nine-month OSCR deadline. This is to establish our visible financial history. Ideally, we would be seeking approval of the accounts for filing at our September board meeting. Our previous annual reports can be found at https://smith-magenis.org/annual-reports/. Please contact Nigel Over, via nigel@smith-magenis.co.uk with your interest in taking on this responsibility.
