2027 Double TCS London Marathon
Are you a keen runner? Do you want to challenge yourself to the world’s most popular marathon, which showcases the best of London?
For the first time ever, the TCS London Marathon will be a TWO DAY EVENT in 2027!
2027 will see the Double TCS London Marathon land in London – along with the established marathon on Sunday 25 April 2027, there will be an additional marathon taking place on Saturday 24 April 2027 – taking in the same iconic route and landmarks of the capital! Starting in Greenwich, the route passes landmarks including Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf before the finish line on The Mall, with a view of Buckingham Palace. It’s a relatively flat course with personal best potential!
The SMS Foundation UK have 4 available places in the Saturday marathon (please note: we have no available places in the Sunday marathon)

Please note: applications will close on Friday 31st July 2026 and the successful applicant will be notified by Friday 14th August 2026. You must be at least 18 years old to run the London Marathon, and we ask the successful applicant to commit to a minimum fundraising pledge of £3000.

To help support your event the SMS Foundation can provide you with a fundraising pack that includes a selection of documents designed to help you raise money and awareness including a sponsorship form, press release template, donations form, and template letter for prizes and donations.
Other resources to help raise awareness for your event including t-shirt(s), baseball cap(s), stickers and balloons can be sourced, please get in touch to discuss what you need for your event.
