SMS Family Activity Day – Sat 20th September 2025

Lockerbie Manor Outdoor Activity Centre, Scotland

We’re pleased to invite SMS families from across the UK to our next Family Activity Day at Lockerbie Manor Outdoor Activity Centre on Saturday 20th September 2025.

This special event is a brilliant opportunity to meet other families living with Smith-Magenis syndrome, enjoy a fun-filled day together, and connect with people who truly understand the journey you’re on.

What to Expect

🌿 Outdoor Activities
Individuals with SMS and their siblings will have the chance to take part in a variety of accessible, supported outdoor activities, designed to be inclusive and fun for all ages and abilities.

☕ Relaxed Parent and Carer Sessions
While the children and young people are busy enjoying themselves, parents and carers can spend time getting to know each other, sharing experiences, and accessing information and resources from the SMS Foundation team.

🗣️ Find Out What’s New
We’ll also be sharing updates on the Foundation’s latest projects, research, and the work we’re doing to support families across the UK.

Ticket Information

  • £30 per person
  • Individuals with SMS attend free of charge

Your ticket includes all outdoor activities, lunch and refreshments, and full access to the beautiful Lockerbie Manor site for the day.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been part of the SMS community for years, this event is open to all SMS families across the UK. It’s a great way to build friendships, swap stories, and enjoy a relaxed, supportive day together.
