We know that for families of children with Smith-Magenis syndrome, navigating the special educational needs system can be an exhausting and confusing experience. That’s why we brought in SEND expert Annette Benstead, founder of SEND Consultancy Services Ltd, to lead a comprehensive and empowering webinar designed to help families understand their rights and make informed decisions about their child’s education and care.
Annette draws on over 25 years of experience working across national charities, local authorities, and tribunal services. Importantly, she has also worked directly with children with Smith-Magenis syndrome and understands some of the specific challenges our families face.
